Key Responsibilities
- Organize and distribute transactional information such as verify worksheets, receive parts in WMS (Warehouse Management System) and SCI
- Collaborate with leadership to align with company goals and standards.
- Troubleshoot item attribute details and work with product for item configuration.
- Prepare daily summary reports as regularly.
- Interact with procurement, order entry, trucking companies, and customers to address issues.
- Researching aged orders to ship product on time to our customers.
- Investigating pick and pack errors.
- Entering discrepancies for anything received short, over, or damaged.
- Cross-training in multiple areas of the distribution center
- Prepare tasks to be picked for warehouse.
- Creates, submits, and works on ideas for continuous improvement.
- Troubleshooting within the WM system to ensure smooth operations.
- Process hot requests from interplants.
- Associate degree minimum, bachelor's degree preferred.
- Must possess the ability to create accurate documents quickly and with minimal supervision.
- Must possess the ability to learn new jobs and computer programs.
- Requires good judgment, positive attitude, and strong organizational skills.
- Must possess the ability to prioritize tasks and communicate clearly with others.
- Strong PC skills including MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint.
- 0 - 3 years of experience in distribution administration or related field preferred.
- Detailed experience working with warehouse management systems including Manhattan WMA, Oracle, Red Prairie or similar.
